The 20 year celebrations of Maranatha Visvasa Samajam were held in the city of Vijayawada on 16th -18th August at Maranatha Temple, Vijayawada. Maranatha Visvasa Samajam is a ministry started by Rev. G. Moses Choudary in the year 1982 with a God given vision to reach the un-reached people groups in India. God has blessed the ministry which now has about 110 pastors, 4 Children Homes with about 270 children, a bible school, and an Ashram or old-age home. The celebrations were started by with a prayer by Rev. Moses Choudary at 8.45 AM on the 16th and were concluded on the 16th with the Lords table.

 It was a great time of celebration for the believers, pastors, bible school students and the Children Homes as they praised the Lord for his goodness and faithfulness. The skits performed by the bible school students during the day time services were a great attraction as were the dances by the children in the evening services. It was customary in India to honor the leaders in India.

 Pastor Choudary broke the tradition by honoring the faithful pastors along with their wives who stood with the thick and thin of the ministry through the years. 30 new believers accepted Christ and were baptized by the pastors during the celebrations. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and celebration for everybody participating. Please pray for the fellowship and for the ministries of Maranatha Faith Ministries.
