Touching Stories on Children - Part 2

Priyanka Bonthu She is 12 year old girl studying 6^th grade. She is good in academics. She scored, 293/300 marks in recent unit exams. In Maths she scored 50/50 and in English 49/50. Priyanka fasted for one day to be saved. God spoke to her through Word telling that she would be given Knowledge. She accepted her sins and was saved. She felt happy for the spiritual blessing received and shared the same with others. She is learning to read Word of God regularly. She is helping dull students in academics. She is interested to participate in cultural events also. Priyanka participated on singing competition in the School. Even though she faced typical competition she got first prize with the help of the God. She participated on running race and won 3^rd prize in that competition.  She is very active and wants to learn many things.

Deevena Kalyani Tambabathula is 12 years young girl and staying in the children home since 5 years. She is merit in studies.  In the month of September an opportunity came to our children home boys and girls to participate in a Bible quiz program conducted in the city of Vijayawada. The place is situated outside the children home and the quiz is conducted by some other ministry.  Totally 18 teams participated in this event. Even though all the students in the home are busy with their quarterly exams, some of the kids came forward to participate in the quiz competition.  Deevena is one among them. She showed interest and started to prepare for the quiz on the book of “Hebrews”. She prepared for the quiz by reading over time.  She attended the exam after praying to God and was filled with tense before the outcome of the results.  Finally the results were announced and “Deevena” from Maranatha Visvasa Samajam got the first prize in the said quiz competition.  She was so surprised and then felt happy for the achievement. She is thankful to God.

Vijaya Challa – She is 12 year old girl and is studying 6^th grade. She is good in academics. She scored 260/300 marks in recent unit exams. In English she scored 43/50 and in Social 46/50.  She always puts more concentration on the message given by the pastor in Sunday worships and noted heart touching words. She also discusses about the messages with her friends and raising many thoughts from her knowledge. She is interesting in making new friends. She likes greenery, birds and kites flying. She is mother less and her father is an Alcohol drinker. She was hurt many times because of this behavior of her father. This year she prayed for her father’s Salvation. She went to her father’s place in holidays and found her father had a great change in his behavior and he likes Priyanka. She is thankful to the God because she saw a miracle in her father.  

Bharghavi Malavathu is 13 years young girl and is staying in the children home since 9 years. She is average in studies. In the month of August, Bharghavi faced severe health problem. She suffered with Throat infection and cough. She was taken to a hospital and was given some medicines.  Even though she had taken medicines there is no improvement in her health. Again she was taken to hospital. Doctors suggested undergoing blood tests and needle tests. Doctors diagnosed that it was not an ordinary cough, but Bharghavi is suffering with Tuberculosis.  She was given special medicines for the cure. She was worried very much and prayed for healing. All her friends in the home and the warden prayed for her. God did a great miracle in her life by healing from Tuberculosis. During the period of sickness, she could not attend school for 20 days. Bharghavi was treated with special care by giving some protein food along with medicines.

Iswarya Bhavani Kesana is a 12 years young girl and is studying 5^th grade. She is good in academics. She scored 282/300 marks in recent unit exams. In English she scored 46/50, Science 49/50 and in Social 50/50. She is having a good competitive spirit and always tries to get at least one mark more as   compared to her friend’s marks. She gives more importance for her studies in her prayers. She likes class room works and dictation. So Iswarya can easily understand the subject. This year she is serious about her spiritual life and fasted for 3 days and prayed for friends Salvation. God touched her through Psalms 23. She became a strong believer and depends on God for every need. Iswarya and her children home friends prayed for her grand-mother’s healing. She was cured by little hearts prayer.  She encourages her friends to receive the God’s love. She won 1^st prize in running race and round chair’s game.

Vinay Ravuri is a 6 years boy and is studying 2^nd grade. He is good in academics. He scored 240/250 marks in recent unit exams. In English he scored 48/50 and in Maths 49/50. He got 2^nd rank in the class. Vinay’s mother was affected by brain malaria. On that time he prayed for her mother and she was cured by the grace of God. Vinay’s mother and grandmother are worshippers of other gods. He told them that “Jesus” is only the God. Your gods are not really gods. If you follow them definitely you will go to hell’. He is daily praying for their Salvation. He likes devotion time and praises the Lord with his small prayers.

Josthna is a 13 years young girl and is studying 7^th grade. She is good in academics. She scored 246/300 marks in recent unit exams. In English her score is 44/50, in Maths 46/50 and in Social 47/50. She received Salvation in the Sunday school. Josthna has no father and there are some family disputes in regard to the property. The girl’s mother went to her in laws house to claim her share. She was beaten by the relatives and in this melee she found her property papers in an auto rickshaw that was used by her relatives. Josthna thanked God for this miracle. She scored first prize in running race. 

Pravallika Bethu – She is 13 years old and is studying 7^th grade. She is good in academics. She scored 233/300 marks in the recent unit exams. In Maths she scored 45/50 marks and in Social 45/50. Pravallika has burden for the salvation of her mother and prayed for the same. Recently her mother got saved. She is now attending the Church. The little girl has burden for her relatives and is praying for their salvation. During holidays she utilizes the time to tell about God’s love.
